Location: Michigan or Surrounding States (Remote with Travel)

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 Base + Commission

Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive new business growth within the flexible packaging industry. This position is responsible for developing new customer relationships, managing the sales process from prospecting through closing, and expanding market presence across food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, cannabis, pet food, coffee, tea, and related manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities

• Generate sales through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close

• Build relationships with manufacturers, brands, co-packers, and converters

• Present customized packaging solutions to prospective customers

• Sell stand-up pouches, lay-flat pouches, rollstock, custom films, and related packaging products

• Manage and grow customer accounts after acquisition

• Develop long-term customer relationships and increase account revenue

• Support company growth initiatives and market expansion efforts

• Travel approximately 30% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience

• Experience selling flexible packaging products

• Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals

• Existing relationships within packaging, food & beverage, CPG, cannabis, or manufacturing industries

• Experience selling stand-up pouches, rollstock, custom films, or similar packaging solutions

• Strong negotiation and closing abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Willingness to travel approximately 30%

• Must be located in Michigan or a neighboring state

Compensation

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
