Director of Accounting

Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead corporate accounting operations and financial reporting for a growing organization. This leadership position offers the opportunity to partner with executive leadership, improve accounting processes, and support continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting
• Oversee month-end and year-end close
• Maintain strong internal controls
• Partner with Finance and Operations leadership
• Support ERP and accounting system implementations
• Lead and develop accounting staff
• Drive accounting process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Active CPA License (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Corporate accounting leadership experience
• Strong financial reporting experience
• Experience with internal controls
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Atlanta, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 public accounting experience
• Multi-unit or franchise organizations
• Restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry experience
• Parent company reporting experience
